응축된 힘이 터지면서 뻗어져 나가는 힘과 에너지를 가진 이 빛이 바로 당신의 삶입니다.

라는 주제로 재료는 흙과 아크릴 물감을 한방울씩 수십가지의 색을 떨어트리고 말리는 과정에서 수개월이 걸리지만 이 색들이 우리의 삶의 여정에서 만나는 색들이고 반복적인 작업에 집중하여서 빛의 힘을 응축 시킵니다.

그 위에 빛을 표현 하기 위해 24K 순금금박으로 가장 고귀한 빛을 표현함으로 우리의 삶의 고귀함을 이야기하고 있습니다.

빛은 생명의 시작을 알리는 최초의 창조이다.

이 빛 안에는 생명이 있고 영혼이 있다.

사람을 먼저 만드신 것이 아니라

빛을 먼저 창조하시고 어둠과 밝음, 태양과 달, 땅과 바다와 수면을 만드셨다.

인간이 살 수 있는 모든 조건을 만드신 후에야 인간을 창조하셨다.

천지창조를 읽으며 하나님의 깊은 뜻과 인간을 너무나 사랑하신 것을 알게된다.

빛은 어둠을 가리고 새로운 생명을 탄생시킨다.

나는 상상한다.

“빛이 있으라” 라고 말씀 하실때 하나님께서 빛을 손으로 직접 뿌리시거나

리듬을 타고 손가락으로 그리시거나

아니면 지휘봉 같은 것으로 터치하시며 춤을 추시거나 하시지 않으셨을까…

그런 상상을 하며 나는 그림을 그리고 그 느낌을 표현한다.

때로는 생명의 탄생을 위해서 힘있게 터트리거나

때로는 순환하는 우주의 모든 에너지를 모아 힘있게 던지거나

음율을 타고 춤을 추며 표현한다.

그렇게 창조된 빛은 영원하고 시간과 공간안에서 끊임없이 순환하고 있다.

매일 새 생명이 창조되듯이…

그리고 그 창조의 순간에 예수님도 우리도 함께 빛으로 머물러 있다.

 

Light is the first creation that heralds the beginning of life. Within this light, there exists life and soul. God did not create humans first;He created light and then made darkness and brightness, the sun and moon, land and sea, and water.Only after completing all the conditions for human existence did He create humans. As I read about the creation of heaven and earth, I come to know the deep intentions of God and His great love for humanity.Light conceals darkness and gives birth to new life.When God said, “Let there be light,” He sprinkled light with His hands and drew it rhythmically with His fingers.While having such imagination,I draw pictures and express those feelings. Sometimes I forcefully burst forth for the birth of life, and sometimes I gather all the circulating energies of the universe and throw them powerfully, or I express it by dancing to the rhythm.Thus, the created light is eternal, constantly circulating within time and space. Just as new life is made daily,Jesus and we dwell in the sunshine together in that moment of creation.
